Mise en abyme which is a formal technique of placing a copy of an image within itself, often in a way that suggests an infinitely recurring sequence. These abstract works are gestural and layered. They are based on intuition, color, texture and the process of “mark making”. No matter how random the action can get, the treatment respects the process that leads to another frame.
